Purposed Academy Microschool 2024 Summer Camp Information!

Schedule and Hours

Dates: Tuesday, May 28th - Wednesday July 31st
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Closed: Monday, May 27th, and July 4th

Age Requirements

Children must be 5 years old by May 27th
Children who are 12 before May 27th are ineligible to attend

Activities

(All activity costs are covered by the activity fee; the Summer Activity Calendar will be available on March 15, 2024)

Tuition and Fees

Tuition: $130 per week
Registration Fee: $139 per child (non-refundable)

Tuition

By enrolling in Purposed Academy’s Microschool Summer Camp, you are locking in and committing to pay for your child's secured spot for each day from May 27th to July 31st.

Tutition for Purposed Academy’s Microschool Summer Enrichment Program is $1,250.

*Due to locking in a spot, withdrawal notices are not accepted during Summer Enrichment Program *

Field Trips

Participants are required to arrive by the EXACT time listed on the calendar in order to go on the field trip. This is strictly enforced. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early!

For safety reasons (easy identification by our staff and others) field trip shirts must be worn for every field trip!

Activity fees are set amounts and are not refunded due to missed activities.

Meals

Your child needs a sack lunch and two snacks EVERY DAY!

No tree nuts or shellfish due to severe allergies of other children.

Personal Belongings

No outside belongings, toys, phones, electronics, blankets, pillows, etc. are allowed. We will not be responsible for lost or broken belongings.

We know summer is full of kids being dropped off from one person, and being picked up by another!

We have a safe area in the office for overnight bags, sports gear, phones/electronics, etc. that need a place to stay until your child is picked-up.

Please Note: All children must be at least 5 years old as of May 1st in order to register. Children who have already entered the 6th grade or who will by 12 prior to May 1st are ineligible to enroll.

Purposed Academy Microschool 2024 Summer Camp Tuition Agreement

This contract is an agreement to pay to reserve your child's spot, regardless of attendance, from May 28, 2024 until July 31, 2024. Your current balance is due every Tuesday.

Tuition

$130 per week per child (3rd child is $100 per week/nine weekly payments of $130, one weekly payment of $70) Registration Fee: $139 per child due May 1, 2024.

Payment Method

Guardians pay by cash, check, or credit cards.

Fees

Late Pick-up fee: A $3 fee applies per minute after 5 pm. A 3rd late pickup after 5 pm within three weeks will incur an additional $20 charge per instance. Late Payment/NSF Fee: $20 fee. (Late payments apply to any account with a balance as of 6 pm Tuesday)

10 Weeks in Full: $1240

Two Monthly Payments: June 4, 2024 and July 3, 2024: $625

Summer Camp Reminders

Lunch

- Send a lunch every day - No tree nuts or shellfish - No outside belongings/toys/phones/electronics/blankets/pillows allowed. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen belongings

Field Trips

- Drop off time: before the time on the calendar - Dress Code: Field trip shirt, socks, and tennis shoes

THE FIELD TRIP POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED WITH NO EXCEPTIONS!

We implement field trip protocols, policies, and procedures that include head counts, finalizing group lists, and going over rules. If a child arrives late, they will remain with the other group and still enjoy their day on-site.

Sunscreen, bug spray, etc. should be applied to your child before arriving as you see fit. However, in the even that we need to apply it, do you give consent for a staff member to apply sunscreen and/or bug spray to your child?

Medical Treatment

I hereby certify that my child(ren) is/are in good physical condition and do/does not suffer from any disability that prevents or limits his/her participation in all activities conducted by Purposed Academy Microschool LLC. (Any conditions have been discussed with administration and needed accommodations have been agreed upon.) I acknowledge that Purposed Academy Microschool LLC will not assume any responsibility or liability for personal injury or damages caused by the injury. In the event Purposed Academy Microschool LLC is unable to reach a parent, guardian or any emergency contact, I hereby give permission for my child(ren) to be transported to the hospital selected below (Children’s of Mississippi Hospital if none specified) for treatment in case of an accident or emergency. I hereby further authorize the staff of Purposed Academy Microschool LLC to provide for, approve, and authorize health care at the hospital until contact can be made with an authorized parent/guardian.

Transportation Permission

I have reviewed and approve of all field trips listed on the calendar, unless I give a written notice to a director to the contrary.
